East Valley K-9 Academy is owned and operated by renowned animal behaviorist, Brad Brimhall.

Brad is a graduate of the University of Utah where he studied education and dog behavior, and also worked with dog behavior modification and dog and puppy obedience training. He has worked as a technical consultant, dog handler, and dog breeder for retriever field trials, Schutzhund working dog competitions, and canine search and rescue teams. While in Utah, Brad was President of Twin Peaks Dog Club in Salt Lake City, holding seminars on dog training and puppy training for all dog breeds, including small dogs, with an emphasis on puppy development. International competitors have purchased Brad's trained adult dogs for national competition.

Brad's portfolio of dog training includes basic and advanced dog obedience training, including puppy training; canine competition training; animal behavior modification; solving barking problems, aggression problems and general dog or puppy behavior problems; canine drug detection; tracking; Schutzhund work and competition; hunting dog training, retrieving and pointer training; police dog work; guard dog training for personal protection; and canine search and rescue.

Brad currently resides in Mesa, Arizona, where he offers personalized dog and puppy training in the entire East Valley area.
